No. 1 Kansas faces Michigan State on Tuesday in the first game of the Champions Classic on Tuesday at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The highly anticipated showdown between two of the most successful programs in college basketball could be one of the top matchups of the 2024-25 season even though the Jayhawks have won the last three games against the Spartans.

Most of the attention entering this game will be aimed toward Duke and its freshmen tandem of Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel. Both are highly skilled players with elite traits that will likely lead to them being first-round picks in the 2025 NBA Draft.
