On Monday Donald Trump was seen fighting back sleep in the Cabinet Room of the Executive Mansion — marking the second time he's appeared to take a quick snooze in the prestigious chamber in less than one week.
As Cabinet secretaries delivered presentations during the meeting, which lasted more than 90 minutes, Trump sat back in his chair with his eyes drooping and, at times, fully closed. The footage showed him motionless for stretches as others spoke.
The president appeared to doze off as he seemingly struggled to stay engaged during the executive department meeting.
As members of his administration — including Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr ., Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, Education Secretary Linda McMahon and Secretary of State Marco Rubio — delivered updates during the over two-hour meeting, Trump seemingly struggled to stay alert, closing his eyes and sitting back in his chair.
