The San Francisco 49ers’ Pro Bowl quarterback will miss a start because of an injury Sunday for the first time in his three-season career after he was not sidelined in college. Purdy was ruled out Friday and won’t play in a critical regular-season game at Green Bay because of an injury he suffered to his throwing shoulder in last Sunday’s 20-17 loss to the Seahawks.
