FAYETTEVILLE — Bobby Petrino could be returning to the ranks of head coach according to a report at FootballScoop at Charlotte. Petrino served as offensive coordinator at Arkansas this season and helped the offense improve dramatically over 2023. Petrino also served as head football coach at Arkansas from 2008-11.

Bobby Petrino has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Charlotte head coaching job, sources tell ESPN. Petrino, the former Arkansas head coach and current OC, had earlier discussed the job with Charlotte officials.
