If not for a rash of injuries that have seen Trout play over 100 games just once in the last five full seasons - and just 29 games last year - he would have hit those milestones a while ago. When the Angels were last in Philadelphia in 2023, Trout was on the injured list.

Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout hasn't played in the outfield since coming back from a bone bruise in his surgically repaired left knee, and he may still be far away from contributing on defense.
