Burlington is a census-designated place in and the county seat of Boone County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 17,318 at the 2020 census. Burlington was incorporated in 1824. However, today Burlington is unincorporated due to the annulment of the city charter in 1923. It is one of the two county seats in Kentucky that are unincorporated.
