This was a charming place for a summer concert. Tips: if coming from out of town, stay at one of the hotels within walking distance, and if you have lawn seats, take beach chairs and get there early.Full review by Melissa W

Best affordable parking nearby that is easy to exit?

We parked in the Zoo parking lot which is a short walk to the state park and it is free. It is a nice walk over the river and a clean lot. Safe from all we could tell.

This is an answer I can't 100% back because the smoking laws are forvever changing in Indiana but yes. I am a smoker and have smoked on the grounds and have seen many smoke there as well as recently as about 3 weeks ago. Many walk the canal that is connected and smoke there too as well. I am always very respectful if I must and have never been bothered.
