Melrose is a town in Jackson County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 402 at the 2000 census. The Village of Melrose is located within the town. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 27.5 square miles, of which, 26.9 square miles of it is land and 0.6 square miles of it is water.
