The beach is a lovely pebble beach with lots of people walking along the beach and promenade in the evening. We didn't swim at it was October. Lovely place to stretch legs and get some fresh air. Full review by Carolyn W

A fairly large stretch of beach located just outside the town of Dover. Our tour bus took us past the beach. I think the water temperature and cool weather conditions kept bathers away. Full review by Thomas V

Is an amazing place to ho with family. We drove there and park on the side of road (parking places designated) and we walked down the beach and on the pier. Kids had lots of fun. Beautiful view Full review by Teofana C
Can you walk from the castle to the beach? Is there a path you can walk from the castle? I'll be there in April. I'll be coming for the day from London and from what I understand I have to take a cab from the train station to the castle. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You can walk from the seafront to the castle it is not very far but it is quite steep. If you are averagely fit it will take about 20 minutes.
