The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) was established in 1971 to oversee development of an international trade and exhibition center in Atlanta that today is known as the Georgia World Congress Center. Along with the convention center, GWCCA’s ever-evolving campus spans 220-plus acres and includes Centennial Olympic Park, the lasting legacy of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United and, opening in 2022, GWCCA’s headquarter hotel Signia by Hilton.

I was there in 1996 and it had a totally different atmosphere then. Now its just a park and we were lucky enough that the weather was nice. Unfortunately way too many homeless people there.Full review by perh281

Is the park open 24/24? Is it a good place to run?

It is open from 7am to 7pm daily. There are paths and grass and there is a specific walk which you can also run.

I’m not sure if Covid has shut that area down. You May want to check with the Atlanta Visitors Center.

Where do people park when going here?
A:
There are two parking ramps Aquarium and Coca Cola, within walking distance. There are parking lots on the street. We didn't see any street parking. All are between 10 and 15 dollars.

There is a directory of the bricks onsite. I havrn’t Used it recently but have no doubt it is available.
