If you walk along Via Garibaldi, you can see the exterior of it from outside the church of S Pietro in Montorio (go up the steps or the driveway). The interior is open Tuesday-Saturday mornings and afternoons (closed for a couple of hours at lunch). The hours are slightly different for the church of S Pietro in Montorio, so it's a little confusing. The hours may also be slightly longer in the summer--I was there in March.
