WEBAug 20, 2015 · Stand or Ride Behind. My mother contends that there are snowblowers that are NOT riding mowers but are able to be ridden or stood upon by some trailer or seating system. Other than homemade, I have yet to find such equipment. An older person using a Toro 928 OXE, turning around on a sidewalk does not sound idyllic.

WEBOct 6, 2017 · The main advantage for a tractor with a blower attachment is you get to ride instead of walk. It also makes more sense if you already have a tractor for other chores. The blowers have to be at least as wide as the tractor so, the horse power per inch of blower width can be pretty anemic with some set ups.

With that said, you can come in well under $17,000 taxes in, for a BCS walk behind- powered by a Honda GX390, with two attachments. You could even get a third attachment and still be under 17k.

WEBDec 11, 2016 · Remove the fasteners in the rim that surround the axle; rim separates into 2 pieces and tire easily comes right off. Tube is easily repairable with a patch kit. I'm the proud owner of a 1978 Bob-Cat, SN 19549, 5 HP, 20", Type T5-1-20-19549. Fortunately, have not needed parts, other than for the Briggs engine.

If the snow on the bottom is penetrable, then IMO it's a matter of speed and weight on the auger housing.

WEBDec 31, 2013 · This unit has less than 5 hours use. It's built with very heavy gauge steel. The engine is a beast. It seems that's where simplicity stopped putting any thought into the unit. They designed a strong frame and housing, put a huge motor in it and they were done. The design isn't functional unless it's light snow.
