WEBJan 15, 2016 · AKG K701 - K702 - K712 (which are 62 Ohm) are harder to drive than both 300 Ohm Sennheisers and 250 Ohm Beyerdynamics. You can drive a Sennheiser HD650 and a Beyerdynamic DT880 PRO at the same time, and that requires less power from the amp than driving a single AKG K702.

It's like saying "This Toyota Prius will go up to 200mph" but not mentioning that it'll take 3 minutes to get up to that speed, and the car will rattle to the point of falling apart once going that fast. Also, high impedance headphones aren't better than low impedance headphones.

Running it through an LGG4 running FLAC/ALAC via USB Audio Pro through a generic OTG cable (more on this later).

Of course, this exquisite appearance of the TY Hi=Z 150 come with a premium price bump of $10 more than the HE 150. Like the Monk plus, the TY Hi-Z 150 and HE 150 have distinct signature difference.

Generally, there is a difference between enthusiasm from novices and that of veterans. The novices were excited about my Beyerdynamic 990 Pro, 250 Ohm. But the veterans were on to these DT 150 headphones.
